  1. Grind the strawberries into a fine powder. Set aside.
  2. Using an electric beater (or stand mixer) beat butter on medium speed until creamy (about 2-3 minutes).
  3. Add sugar, strawberry powder, cream, salt and vanilla essence. Beat on low for another 30 seconds. 
  4. Increase beater speed to high and beat for 1 minute (do not overbeat).
  5. At this point check the consistency of the frosting. If it’s too thin, add ¼ cup more sugar. If it’s too thick, add 1 tbsp of cream.
  6. If not using immediately, cover with cling wrap and store in the fridge.
