  1. Heat oven to 180 degrees centigrade.
  2. Grease muffin cups/tray. If you don’t have a muffin tray/cups (like me) you can take a cupcake tray and line that with butter paper. The walls of the butter paper should be high.
  3. In a bowl mix butter until creamy. Add sugar and beat until pale and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
  5. Beat in vanilla, baking powder and salt.
  6. With a spoon fold in half of the flour and then half of the milk into the batter. Repeat with the remaining half of flour and milk.
  7. Fold in blueberries and cranberries.
  8. Spoon into muffin cups and sprinkle topping onto each muffin.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes; until golden brown and springy to touch.
