  1. Peel and chop the lauki into small pieces.
  2. Heat oil and fry whole cumin for a few seconds.
  3. Add the lauki, cover and cook on low heat until it’s tender.
  4. Add salt and cool.
  5. In a separate bowl beat yogurt and add salt, cumin powder, green chilies, coriander leaves, and the cooked lauki. Mix well. If the mixture seems too thick add a little bit of water.
