  1. Steam the onions for 30-40 minutes and grind to a paste.
  2. Heat oil and add fenugreek and cumin seeds.
  3. When the cumin starts to brown up, add onion paste and fry.
  4. Stir fry the onion paste till it turns light brown.
  5. Add ginger & garlic paste and remaining spices and mix.
  6. Immediately add yogurt and cook on low/medium until the water dries up (and the oil comes up).
  7. Add fish and mix.
  8. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes (turn over half way through the cook).
