  1. Preheat the oven to 180C (350F).
  2. Mix flour, cocoa and baking powder in a bowl.
  3. In a small bowl, beat the eggs. Set aside.
  4. In a third bowl beat the softened butter and sugar together until creamy.
  5. Add the eggs and beat well.
  6. Add the dry ingredients and mix until you get a smooth batter. Do not over beat.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Cool on a wire rack.

 

Notes:

  • If making cupcakes, change baking time to 20 minutes.
